Newborns are the sweetest thing...and I just love everything about photographing them.  And this precious baby boy was no exception.  For being first time parents, his parents were just so relaxed...they are naturals at this whole parenting thing.  I was impressed!  And I loved little man's head full of dark hair--it reminded me of my son when he was born.  Kids grow so fast.  It truly does feel like you blink and in that moment, years have passed.  It's a big part of the reason that I absolutely love what I do.  I hear so many mommas say the same thing that I do---"I wish I could freeze time."  And although we can't, photographs sure do have a way of bringing us back to that moment.  I hope that these images help freeze time for this precious family.

Xoxo,

Erin

Courtney is such a natural in front of the camera!  I had so much fun working with her and her mom...it was truly a dream session!  She is a high school senior at Pearl River High School and I think you guys already know how much I LOVE doing senior sessions.  We started at our studio with the traditional stuff--cap and gown and drape.  Then we did a few casual ones at the studio as well.  We headed to my favorite Slidell outdoor location after that--Camp Salmen.  I just love doing photos there.  And to make her session extra special, we visited the beautiful Woodridge Bed and Breakfast after Camp Salmen.  Courtney's family are friends with the super sweet owners of the bed and breakfast...and they were kind enough to allow us to use their grounds for some shots.  It's always fun to visit a new location for portraits...and we couldn't have ended on a better note!

Class of 2017 seniors---don't wait!  Contact us to book your senior session today!

This was such a fun session!  This sweet girl kept me entertained and smiling the entire time...her smile and laugh were so contagious.  And considering these were her one year old portraits, how crazy is it that we were able to get the most precious shot of her holding up the number 1?!

I met Lane and his family several years ago when his older brother took his Senior Portraits with me.  How time flies!  It was so much fun catching up with him and his parents on his Senior Portrait session this spring.  After doing portraits in his cap and gown and tux at the studio, we did a few fun ones in his basketball uniform.  Then we headed to one of my favorite spots for outdoor portraits...Camp Salmen.  Congrats to Lane and the rest of our 2016 Seniors!  It's hard to believe we have already started doing portraits for the Class of 2017!

I just love photographing babies and toddlers.  They are so much fun!  And Oliver was no exception.  This was my second time taking his photos...I had so much fun with him and his Mom last October for pictures at the park and he was such a delight to work with again for his Just4Kids Mini Session a few months ago.  I love seeing how much these little ones change between sessions...and I can only imagine how much more he has grown since this studio session.  Loving his bow tie in these...and that great big smile in the chair!

Xoxo,
