Now that we have caught up from a very busy spring, I am looking forward to sharing some sessions from the last 6 months or so.  And first up is this senior session from December.  There was something so natural and relaxed about Dakota's senior session.  I had a great time with her and her mom at our studio and the fun continued as we traveled to Camp Salmen for the outdoor portion of her session.  I love how she included some photos in an LSU outfit...she will be attending college there in the fall.  Congratulations to Dakota and the rest of our Slidell 2016 high school graduates.

I have been taking big sister's pictures since she was a newborn.  So I was thrilled about the opportunity to take baby Parker's photos...and to do some with Parker and Paisley together.  And what a great big sister!  Paisley was so sweet with "her baby" and we couldn't have been more proud of her...here are just a few of our favorites.  Congrats Adam and Brittany...what a beautiful family you have!

This was our "Newborn Mini Session," which is a 1.5 hour session.  And depending on what you are looking to accomplish, it is the perfect amount of time!  We also offer our traditional Newborn Session (up to 3 hour in-studio session).  If you are expecting and interested in a newborn session, contact us now for details!

This blog has been a year in the making!  Last year, my son started Kindergarten.  And it was such a special time.  So, of course, at the end of the year, I wanted to document it with photos in his cap and gown.  And after I finished his session, it hit me that other moms and dads would probably love the same experience.  It was too late for me to offer the special for that school year, as school had already ended.  But I promised myself that I would do it the following year.  And despite spring being our busy season, I made the time to do it this year.  And I am so happy that I did!  I had so many happy moms, dads and grandparents in the studio and it filled my heart with joy!  So this will definitely be an annual event at E.marie Photography.

I had so much fun with Destiny!  We started her session at my studio with a few of her friends and her favorite Pandora station.  Then we headed to Fontainebleau State Park for the beach photos and to Camp Salmen to wrap up in her gorgeous dress!  Here are just a few of my favorites from her session.  Congratulations to Destiny and the rest of our 2016 graduates!
