I have been taking big sister's pictures since she was a newborn.  So I was thrilled about the opportunity to take baby Parker's photos...and to do some with Parker and Paisley together.  And what a great big sister!  Paisley was so sweet with "her baby" and we couldn't have been more proud of her...here are just a few of our favorites.  Congrats Adam and Brittany...what a beautiful family you have!

This was our "Newborn Mini Session," which is a 1.5 hour session.  And depending on what you are looking to accomplish, it is the perfect amount of time!  We also offer our traditional Newborn Session (up to 3 hour in-studio session).  If you are expecting and interested in a newborn session, contact us now for details!

What a fun session this was!  Patrick's Senior Portrait session started at our studio with cap and gown, tux and some in his football uniform.  He has played football for Salmen High for the last 4 years...so I was so glad he agreed to do some serious shots in his uniform.  And it was a family affair when we went to do his outdoor shots at Camp Salmen...his mom, dad and sisters all tagged along.  We had a great time and created some great images also.  This is one intelligent young man and I know that he has a bright future ahead of him.  Congrats on your upcoming graduation, Patrick!

We have another adorable baby girl on the blog this morning!  I had a blast with Sophie for her studio session.  Don't you just love her cheeks?!

Sophie's mom and grandma (who are both amazing teachers, by the way) were there with us for her session.  And she kept us all laughing the whole time!  So much personality...so much sass!

And she is a girl after my own heart...after a few minutes, she kicked off her shoes.  So,of course, I followed suit!  I love the shots of her cute bare feet.

Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

I was so honored when Charlotte's momma asked me to do her 6 months portraits for two reasons.  First and foremost, it is one of my absolute favorite ages to photograph.  But there was a bit of extra excitement for this particular session because Charlotte's mom and I went to school together.  So it was nice catching up with her as well.

I think it is safe to say that we are both planners...so we went in knowing exactly what we wanted out of the Just4Kids Mini Session.  And Charlotte did her part beautifully....so much so that it was hard to choose our favorites!  She is absolutely precious and her personality shined through her portraits.

Our Just4Kids Mini Sessions are such a hit!  For this particular session, we did 2 outfits that they brought in and we even had some extra time to put her into one of the tutus from the collection of fun things here at the studio.  If you are interested in a Just4Kids Mini Session, feel free to contact us today!  We would love the opportunity to work with you.

I cannot believe it has been over 4 months since I have blogged!  I have so much to share that I don't even know where to start.  Just to give you guys a little insight on why I haven't blogged...our busiest months are March to May.  We have the privilege of doing photos for 3 dance schools as well as several daycares and, of course, we still have our studio sessions as well.  Spring is definitely our busy season!  And in addition to being busy here at the studio, my family has had a very busy and exciting spring as well.  My hubby and I went on a nice trip for our 10th anniversary in March and just a few weeks later, we travelled to Oklahoma to attend my brother-in-law's beautiful wedding.  So now that summer is here, it is time to slow down a bit and get prepped for the fall. And, of course, share some of these images that we have been creating over the last few months!

But before I start blogging sessions, I want to tell y'all about our Grand Opening.  It was here at our studio on February 24th.  We actually moved to our location on Pontchartrain Drive (our address is 328 Sun Valley Drive) back in September.  But next to Spring, Fall is our busiest season.  So the Grand Opening had to be put on hold for a few months...but it was so worth the wait!  We had a great turnout.  I am so appreciative for my family, friends and clients for coming out to support me.  The East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce was such a pleasure to work with...and it was so nice to meet so many Chamber members who took time out of their day to come show their support.  That's what the Chamber of Commerce is all about...and I am proud to be a member.  And our mayor, Mr. Freddy Drennan, came out to show his support as well.  We had one of our photo booths here (www.mobilememoriesbooth.com) and we did a few giveaways and had some yummy snacks.  A sweet friend of mine made tacos that were so delicious....everyone loved them!  And, of course, we had sandwiches from our neighbor, Subway, as well.  It was a fun afternoon and although there was a forecast for rain, the weather was perfect.

If you weren't able to make the Grand Opening, feel free to stop in and say hi if you are in the area!

And a special thanks to my dear friend, Ingrid Jones, for capturing these images for me!
